Would it not just be easier to re-register a new name. I just attempted this with the same email address without issue.

I don't believe he is active very much now, but you could give it a try. The only other option is to assign a fake email using one of the temp email services, but I'm guessing it is the username you want removed. Don't know if even mean has control over that.
