PS: ssa don't work at all. Avidemux filter says "cannot read file..." :-\

It seems the file not properly converted.Try attached one.
P.S.: Subtitles starts in 30-th seconds.

if still issues with ssa? check if all avidemux is installed (plugins, ...) these should be installed:
dpkg -l avidemux3*
| Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend
|/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name                        Version                     Description
ii  avidemux3-cli               2.6.4-8707                  Simple video editori, main program gtk version
ii  avidemux3-core              2.6.4-8707                  Simple video editori,core libraries
ii  avidemux3-plugins-cli       2.6.4-8707                  Simple video editor, plugins
ii  avidemux3-plugins-common    2.6.4-8707                  Simple video editor, plugins
ii  avidemux3-plugins-qt4       2.6.4-8707                  Simple video editor, plugins
ii  avidemux3-plugins-settings  2.6.4-8707                  Simple video editor, plugins
ii  avidemux3-qt4               2.6.4-8707                  Simple video editor,main program qt4 version

ssa is now well converted and I got no more errors, but still don't work.

How can I load old srt filter and use it instead the new filter?

dpkg on a gentoo based distro? :-\

Jan Gruuthuse

Substitute dpkg by relevant command used on gentoo, I'm not gentoo user, you are!
????? revert to 2.5.6 if you want srt hard coding.
If you give the srt file the same name as the video file and have it in same folder, most players would play video with this external srt.

You can use mencoder as well.

Problem solved.
I'm back to the 2.5.6 version and old srt. :)
