Hello from Hungary!
this avidemux very good.
my system: win xp, msi760GM board

While saving, sometimes the end detected before really end.
He writes: "succesfully saved", but this is about 70% closed (some files).
According to its own flow chart is not over yet ...
The end of the saved video is missing. (eg. The video total:1h20min, but he cut/end on 1h04min.)
(my saved files files: (always) xvid avi, with mp3 stereo audio)
I do not know why on a few video, still doing it, and the rest is completely saved.
I tried several times, so I installed again.
(my version 2.6.5. later versions were the case, I put return this.)
Do not offer additional ones, do not work well voice of ts files.)

in other words:
according to its own flow chart should still continue.

Thank you for answers!

Check Edit -> Settings -> [Output]
[v] Create OpenDML files
If still issue check:
Split MPEG files every (MB) [790] (increase to acceptable size for missing 20 minutes)

Otherwise are you using joined video parts?
- does avidemux asks to load sequential videofiles (001,002, ...): answer no, append these manually.
If still an issue? Do you make cut on video parts on keyframe: only selectable with up or down keyboard arrow, not with left or right arrow.

Before testing remove the related .idx2 files.

Try nightly: http://www.avidemux.org/nightly/ select accordingly 32 or 64 bit matching your xp.

If all fails there could be errors in the video file (recording/internet transport/ ...)

Thanks!
I tried all along.
The circle has narrowed:
really, the second part of the concatenated file "forget" but whether it is manual or automatic append.
(The IDX files i delete before any new trial.)
The error is therefore of the idx file: appended, but not in terms of saving adds up ...
If you like, i send the created idx files...

idx? Working with 2.5.6? Try 2.6 32 or 64 bit matching your windows 32/64-bit from here<- click

Hello!
This is error, entry point not found.
(see picture)
otherwise, in the newer verions ts file audio is BAD!!

USP10.DLL = Uniscribe Unicode script processor
Most likely you have issues with localised characters?
- keep you file(s) and path name(s) short, like (c:\video)
- don't use space in file or path names.
- use standard US ascii A-Z and a-z only. Don't use diacritic characters.

That is not a big help for developers! Your description is to general. I can not confirm issues with audio in mpeg-ts: not in stereo, ac3 or mutliple tracks.

Hello, you're right.
I think the characters have no problem(see picture).
If you hope for serious help,
Willingly will send up a audio-recording or video recording of this problem.
But "it works for me" types of responses i have been very bored.

Thank you.
That is why I use the 2.6.5.
Even should operate normally, the entire file is saved, what it promises ... this is not OS dependent ...
(see problem on the top)

Not of the program! Your video files or where your videos are in the folder! Location name and paths.

- Development on 2.5.6 is halted!
- Windows XP: End OF Life: Support for Windows XP ended on April 8, 2014. For more information, see Windows XP support has ended.

Download and install 2.6.11. Now download usp10.dll v1.626.6001 (only this version works) from dll-files.com and copy it to your Avidemux install folder. Now the latest version works on XP .

Test now your avi file in Avidemux 2.6.11.

Hello!
Thank you very much!

Woking, but now "BAD audio" problem...
The .ts file audio is bad (I would say: Jumbled) but this ts file audio on VLC player and on Avidemux 2.6.5  is good...
