Video Editing with avidemux_cli

Hi.  I''d like to do simple video cut editing on an AVI file which is encoded
in a raw format (each frame is stored separately).  I have a list of start/end
pairs of either segments to keep, or segments to discard.  Can I use
avidemux_cli to do the editing for me in a frame-exact manner, and
also keep the audio in sync?  Thank you.

if it works with gui, it should be possible doing so with cli. If problems with passing settings, use a saved tinypy project to pass settings in cli, with --run saved.py.

Thanks, but I don't have a working GUI.  I'm on CentOS 6, and the links for CentOS 6 rpm files on the WWW download other programs, not avidemux.

So, I'm trying to do this via the command line tool.  And there's no man page for avidemux_cli in my install.  And I can't find one on the WWW.  There doesn't seem to be any documentation for avidemux at http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/ (what do you see when you click on 'wiki docs'?  Are there any documents linked in that page?.

So if you someone knows how to do this, please let me know.  Or if you know of any documentation for avidemux_cli, please send me a link.

What happens when other people view http://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/doku.php?id=tutorial:batch_processing?  It doesn't work for me in either mozilla or Internet Explorer.  I see an icon at the top which says 'AviDemux wiki', and a few links off to
the right that say

              Command-line only batch processing
              JS scripting (ECMAScript) only batch processing
              Combination of command-line and JS scripting
              Tips

But no text is displayed.  This doesn't work in either Mozilla or Internet Explorer.  Question: what
browser did they develop this documentation for?

If text is not showing as it should use looking glass at right hand, it should display ascii text and is sometimes enough to go on.

Is avidemux still an actively supported project?

Why shouldn't it? Nearly daily updated 2.6.4. It is not a micro$oft operation. But a great program and most issues get solved if possible.

Okay.  It seems odd that the build process is so arcane, and that the Wiki page
doesn't properly the documentation.  I was having some problems with
mencoder, when someone informed me that it hasn't been developed since
2010, so I was thinking maybe I should ask.
