Resize the video

Resizing videos to anything below 576p causes the colors to look alot darker than the original source. Tried doing it in handbrake and there downscaling content doesn't mess up the colours. Any idea what causes it / how to fix it?

Please provide more info, including the properties of the source video, as I cannot reproduce using the current git master. Do you check colors in the filter preview and they turn darker depending on the output size? Do you compare the output of an encoder? If so, which one?
