Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, I am new... My computer is on Sonoma 14.7.2, and the most recent updates here won't run because it says I can't use them with my current version of macOS. I'm confused because the updates from the website are only from a couple days ago. Thank you!

I assume Sonoma builds are WIP, maybe not ready yet. Please build locally from source off the git master, especially advisable if your Mac is arm64 ("Apple Silicon").

Is there a good step-by-step for building from the git master? I was able to glean some information from this thread, but not enough for this novice to get the job done.

The Apple Silicon build instructions in the README (the lower part of https://github.com/mean00/avidemux2 when displayed in a browser) are sufficient. At what particular stage do you experience problems?
